We spend so much time in our life waiting.
We stand in line, we wait for the perfect person, we can not wait for our dreams to come true, we can not wait for the day when we will have a better body and a better life, we look for ways to achieve our goals one day next, we always have one thing or another to wait on.
We are waiting. This better life is coming, and we'll get there soon.
If you're waiting for the right things to happen - or you're actively trying to make something good happen - take a break. Look where you are right now, in life and physically, right now. Where are you ? Is it already great? If so, why are you impatient about the future when you are already there?
And if we do not think that where we are is already great, maybe we are not paying enough attention.
queues and traffic

The tragedy of goals
We set goals, those little dreams of what the future will be, and we focus on them. Everyday, we are working on these goals, we are taking a step closer to this super future. When the goal is reached, wouaouh! And now ? Next objective. And yet another. This kind of forward thinking does not stop when you reach the goal, and will not stop until you have another moment of life, a future to aim for.
But in fact, it can stop. Now. Stop aiming for that goal, and look where you are.
The goal may seem great: run a marathon, finish a project, get indebted, have beautiful abs, win a million dollars. But it's a fantasy, and when (if) this fantasy comes true, it will not be as you imagined. It will look like the normal life, not a new amazing life different from the life you had. Life will not be better, and never will be, as long as you do not stop thinking about this better life and realize that life is already incredible.
This life, now, is already perfect! Enjoy it, forget about these goals. To reach them will not be better than the fantasized life that is there, right now.
I was asked, "What if I do not have anything I want? Well, stop hoping for those things. They are no better than what you already have, which is an incredibly unlikely event called life.
The wait for love
So many people are waiting for the love of their dreams, this perfect person who will love them, make their life perfect.
Some are even waiting for thier childhood love or thier love who promised to return.
This person may or may not show up, but the tragedy is not that you do not have that Mr. or Mrs. Perfection ... it's that you're waiting for happiness.
You are the best company, the person who will always be there, the unconditional love you seek. You just need to stop waiting for this Mr or Mrs Perfection, and look at you. Be really careful of yourself. Do you accept. Love yourself, as you are, without hoping to be different.
This might require some tests, but do these tests right now. You might find that you are the great love of your life that you have always expected.

@ phunke We need to have the proper frame of mind to our right destination or goal, work hard have a waiting attitude we can not envisage accurately the future but we can work for a better future.

Nothing on earth is absolute, money comes and go, then at this point i will employ people to work for me, invest in people, then i will create a nice atmosphere that will enable me to derive pleasure while i continue working........

I've learned that part of the problem with waiting and overall impatience is also our tendency to try and control things that are out of our control. We want to control the flow of traffic, other people in our lives, the efficiency of our schedule we have laid out....if we stop during those times, and focus on the things we can control and not on the things we can't, it will bring much relief to our minds and will lift our burdens so we can dance and sing and experience contentment right where we're at. As far as the answer to the question, though, I can't imagine not working towards anything unless I was in heaven. There you don't have to struggle and strive toward any goals because everything would already be perfect. I wouldn't be on Steemit, trying to reach people. I wouldn't be concerned with making sure the house is kept or working towards the future of my children... I'd probably be in some transcendent state loving my family or something like that haha.
