There should be peace
Yet unrest and war
Is on the increase
Inbetween countries
Not much delight
With love and friendship
We should unite
Inbetween countries
Amongst generations
It’s peace we need
And inspiration
Inbetween countries
There’s so much to do
Maybe dreams of peace
Won’t ever come true
Inbetween countries
Life it gets tougher
Folk lose their lives
And the innocent, suffer
Inbetween countries
Insanity and pain
But I guess mankind
Has itself to blame
Inbetween countries
We see a lot wrong
I pray peace somehow
In the future shines on
Inbetween countries
We strive to survive
Praying harmony
One day may arrive
