I'm at a crossroads. I realized I am getting older, hence there's a need to step up my game, start my hustle. So I begin, using the tools and talents life has gifted me with, I kick-off. Then, almost suddenly 21 minutes into the brutal match one calls life, an ephiphany hits me. I'm almost alone on the field, those that would support me are either too far ahead or blocked by the best defenders life can buy.
I am stranded.
Occasionally I am able to pull off a hat trick or two to get me out of pretty sticky situations but I can never get passed the kicker. All he keeps yelling when I finally reach him is, "You shall not pass".
