Am grateful to be struck by the VYBolt lightning
Question .
Every post that includes the #vyb tag will in addition to earning vyb token be eligible for the vyb bot strike.
There are different time zones in the world, and Hive has large number of users.
The VYB bolt strike is manually handled for now.
Considering the above points , how will VYB project ensure that the vyb bolt striking is distributed fairly in most of the posts that utilize the #vyb tag, bearing in mind that the verify your brain community will see huge interest from Hivans due to it's reward system.
Why did I chose this question ?
I am certain that there will be huge inflow of content in the VYB community and that it won't be easy to curate these huge number of posts, especially now that the VYB bolt strike is handled manually. Many Hivans may likely be discouraged if after weeks, the vyb bolt have neither struck on their post or have been struck by the bot.
Having a system that will ensure that a greater percentage of the #vyb tagged posts receives the VYB bolt striking will help to actualize the vision of the VYB community.
I invite @samest to come and be part of the chain, and help increase engagement in the VYB community.
Great questions and concern about the potential increase in traffic. Fortunately VYBolt is only a small part of VYB curation (it's more of an engagement project on the @vyb.earn side of the VYB project).
More information about the vision and plan for VYB curation will be published on the @vyb.vyb account at some time during this upcoming week. The approach I have in mind should ease some concerns about increases in content load but we'll discuss that in the more detailed post.
This is a great point. We're looking into automatically handling some responses of the VYBolt chain, although at the moment we're just having fun with it and trying to see what works/doesn't work 😀 Me and @mineopoly are having a blast with it.

Nope! We decide on the question and throw it out there (it's great when the question lines up with the topic of the post, it really adds something).
I personally want to bring more randomness into the process at some point. We could load up the VYBolt cannon and fire off questions here there and everywhere if it could be managed well (we're just getting round to a similar process for the WOTW word selections, we should learn from this as well).

@proofofbrainio has offered his support to the VYB Curation Project (he assisted with trail support during the initial testing phase) and is actively supporting the @vyb.earn efforts through trail following.
We've been upvoting VYBolt replies and #vyb comments with @vyb.earn so there has definitely been some #pob love spread to Verify Your Brain already. :)
More crossover projects and opportunities are surely round the corner.

This is just one small part of a large community of curation. Today was an exciting event for us to open up the front end. VYBolt will be around and more. I am on one side of the planet and Cal is on the other side so time zones are not really a problem plus I think @calumam can do the job better than any robot.
