I am doing some research into cryptocurrencies.. Not really that extensive as others, but during this quest I stumbled upon masternodes.. I won't delve too much into which masternode I built, but for now let me tell you about a PROMO that I found which could benefit you as well.
The VPS hosting I found is vultr.com (this is my affiliate link). Once done with the sign-up process, browse down to Billing > Gift Code. Input promo25b (this is only valid for the month of June 2018, as far as I know).
The gift code provides an initial credit of $25. And this credit could go a long way.
Their servers are located in 15 countries across the globe. And you could deploy a wide range of operating systems, including a vast array of hardware choices, from the tiny 1vCPU 512MB RAM to baremetal 8-core servers.
I am running my masternodes in the instance next to tiny and I'm happy with the performance so far. My masternodes are starting to earn me some cryptocurrency and I hope to hit ROI soon.

@djimirji up!
smart idea :)
Looks cool!
Just stumbled over passive income via masternodes a few weeks back but read there a huge investments necessary to run a masternode (for DASH for example you need to own 1000 DASH to do it).
I would love to hear more about this. Which did you choose? How high was your investment and how high are your earnings? Do someone have to be a techguru to set that up or is basic knowledge enough for doing this? And finally when do you expect to hit break even point and start earning?
Sorry for asking that much but I'm really interested and would like to hear it from a person I "know".
i'm staking NYEX.. more information here: https://masternodes.online/currencies/NYEX/
Que interesante información amigo @dillagr.
How it Work You can Check Here
Very interesting, deff will check this one out. Can you explain how do you exactly earn money running the node? And when you say ROI, do we earn ROI on the bonus credit we get or how does that work?
@dillagr has set 0.250 SBD bounty on this post!
What is a bounty exactly?
A bounty is money sent to a post to be distributed to the users commenting on it. It provides a way to reward users directly and works in addition to the steem/sbd they receive from the blockchain. It works independently of SteemPower.
You create a bounty by sending any amount of sbd/steem to @steem-bounty together with a post-url in the memo.
How can I earn a bounty Users are then competing for the bounty by writing their answers to the post in comments that will achieve upvotes from the community and especially the bounty creator. The money of the bounty gets distributed to all top level comments of the post at the same time when the post is paid out (7 Days after it was written). How much everyone gets depends on the votes the comments received. The sender of the bounties votes are weighted higher so that she decideds where 80% of the bounty money goes and all other votes determine the rest.@steem-bounty does all of this for you automatically. You can use this service to automatically pay out a challenge, ask a hard question or simply to reward the people that interact with you.
Read more about how it works, even in different languages here.
Congratulations to the following winner(s) of the bounty!
Nice information. Thanks for sharing
I have heard about Vultr in past and it is definitely a good option. But I would suggest to explore other similar options like- Digital Ocean, Linode etc. as well which are equally good and provide high performance infrastructure.
i have explored those as well.. its just the price of vultr that differentiates it from the pack.
