I have difficulty reconciling 'anarchist' with all this attention to gold, silver and cryptocurrency.
Anarchism is inherently anti-capitalist. Going back to the 1st international, it has been socialist in affiliation, though of course anarchists will find ML socialists to be distasteful due to their penchant for centralized state building and repressive, authoritarian tendencies.
I think much of the subject matter in this talk is right-libertarian. This is not a bad thing. There is common cause with right libertarians and left-anarchists. There are some who prefer to say left-libertarian, or libertarian socialist to describe anarchist. This is essentially accurate. However I do not think it is a two way street. Right libertarian is not the same as anarchist due to an attachment to money-systems (capitalism) in the first place, but also due to a cultural association with various Right social issues.
This is unfortunate. As without the capitalism and social issue disagreement, right libertarian and left libertarian are both striving for the same future.
