RE: Vocab-ability–146 (miser = unfortunate, wretched) – A More Powerful Vocabulary (earn UpVotes with “Vocab Practice” exercise)

in #vocab-ability6 years ago (edited)

MY VOCAB PRACTICE

  1. A lot of Steemit members are miserable, because they are misers (just see the number of self-upvotes even under this blog post), they don't really care about the people nor the content on Steemit generally, they just care about the upvotes (money), so the they are in misery, but I can't (and don't want to) commiserate with those (miser) people (until they don't change).

  2. Due to the sentence above (the truth about Steemit), I probably put myself into a miserable situation. (I hope that people will not attack me or something like that. People often attack, when the truth hurts them).

  3. I hope that the miser people will learn something from this comment and they will start becoming more selfless, instead of attacking and/or continuing their selfish behavior.

  4. If they would do that, I would be commiserated with them. I also commiserated with those people, who make valuable content, put hours of work, effort and time into their posts, but almost no one cares about them and/or their posts. There are a lot of ignored talented people on Steemit.
