MY VOCAB PRACTICE:

  1. Patient.
She was a patient undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatment at the hospital under the care of her oncologists.

  2. Pathetic.
It made her feeling confused and pathetic to have been diagnosed and treated with such ailment which she never thought and imagined could happen to her.

  3. Antipathy.
And having diagnosed of the disease, it was normal for her to grieve and to feel antipathy for it.

  4. Patient.
Nevertheless, she was very patient, hopeful, and optimistic that her treatment will cure her of the horrible malignant disease.

  5. Compassion.
During this dark moment of her life she fervently prayed and reached out to God to give her solace and compassion.

  6. Sympathy.
Coming out victorious as a survivor, she can now relate and has sympathy to those who have gone or experienced this horrible disease.
