RE: Vocab-ability–57 (derm = skin) – A More Powerful Vocabulary (earn UpVotes with “Vocab Practice” exercise)

MY VOCAB PRACTICE

  1. Epidermis
My epidermis is very sensitive: when I get a bruise, the mark is showed deep down in the skin and breaks capillaries.

  2. Pachyderm
My father is not forgiving with big women. He uses to say: "that woman is big like Pachyderm, walking around with heavy steps and has squared cupboard shoulders"

  3. Dermatology
During the last 15 years, dermatology has successfully addressed its research into the power of medicinal herbs.

  4. Dermatologist
Dermatologists works a lot in the current times, because many people want to keep themselves young.

  5. Hypodermic
I have seen my mother taking hypodermic for her osteoporosis, therefore I'm not impressed anymore with syringes.

Your father may not be perfect, but clearly, in some things, he is entirely correct!
