RE: Vocab-ability–183 (plac, pleas = pleasant, favorable) – A More Powerful Vocabulary (earn UpVotes with “Vocab Practice” exercise)

“MY VOCAB PRACTICE.”

  1. I don’t live to PLEASE you.
  2. We had a PLEASANT stay at your house, thank you!
  3. Is being PLACID under chaotic situations a good thing?
  4. Being COMPLACENT is the end of progress.
  5. I’m the only one who can PLACATE him; a simple comforting gesture and sweet talk can turn him from a beast into a baby.

Good work!

Thank you very much, @majes.tytyty! 😁

Thank you for always taking part. I appreciate it, and hope you're benefiting from these Vocab posts. Cheers!!

Definitely, @majes.tytyty! 😄 Being a non-native English speaker myself, I am learning a lot from these Vocab posts. There are words that are new to me, and some which I knew but never really bothered to know the meaning. Along with participating in this challenge, I also learn how some words are pronounced, because sometimes how you think it is pronounced is way different from the reality.

Anyway, THANK YOU! 😀
