Good point re language learning. In fact, when I was living in Japanese and teaching English, I was also learning Japanese. I learned lots about both languages from my dealings with the them.
By teaching, I learned how to study and learn. By studying, I learned how to teach. :-)

Piketty may be topical, but I found his writing dense and not very comprehensible. (And no, I did not finish reading his book. :-( )
Ya, most people have the same reaction but as an economist, I think can relate much better to his thoughts and ideas.

Good work!
Einstein showed how all our perspective is relative. As an adult, we can see that our childhood experience showed everything to be huge. We should remember that, even as adults, our perspective is influenced greatly by who and what and where we are. Influenced and limited.
Which makes me wonder ... what do we not see now?
Thank you :) It's nice to see others who get it....everything in this world and beyond is subject to perception.
German Physicist Werner Heisenberg stated "Not only is the universe stranger than we think but it is stranger than we can think".
Think on that one for a bit and it will do your noodle!

Basic:

Gigantic:
Elephant are the most gigantic creatures in the wild today.
Topical:

Economical:

Good work!
MY VOCAB PRACTICE:
Basic:
I've been listening to the different recordings of the Kybalion, a philosophical book that dates back to ancient Egypt, found on the internet to learn the Law that governs the place in which we live.
Gigantic:
Gigantic is the opposite of tiny.
Topical:
One of the reasons these Natural Laws are not better known is because the Christians, the same ones that went on "witch" hunts burning, staking, and slaughtering half of the Europeans population of woman, targetted for their knowledge of plant medicines and powers of the mind normal folk do not access, have sought to keep this knowledge in the dark with sword, cross, gibbet, and a bible in hand everytime the book has become a topical issue.
Economical:
Bring light to the darkness would be the economical disaster the Capitalists, those who run our societies while seated on their million dollar porch drinking martinis.
Good work!
p.s. Are you declaring that Christians are not always and evermore guided by the supreme divine light, and that maybe, they might have committed mistakes and even great evil? If so, you're absolutely correct.
