MY VOCAB PRACTICE
It was the most strange sensation I felt the first time I was old enough to tell a story of something that happened to me over a decade ago.
She loved track and field events so much that it became her dream to win a decathlon, so she trained endlessly for years until her coach finally agreed that she was ready to compete professionally.
When I was a child my Dad found a puppy abandoned on the side of the road, clearly no more than six or seven weeks old, but as we didn't know his exact birth date we decided to give him the entire month of December to mark the occasion.
A couple of mischievous, trouble-makers started lighting spot fires for fun, little did they know they would soon be responsible for the fire that would decimate their home town.

My Vocab Practice
1.- My favorite decade was definitely the 80's.
2.-I have a friend who would love to participate in a decathlon, in fact, they live preparing for it.
3.-In Venezuela we celebrate the month of December with Gaitas and carols and at the table you can not miss the traditional hallaca.
4.- The number of visits to the museum has decimated since they took the replica of the Tyrannosaurus Rex, the biggest attraction.
