I’ll have to think about it. It’s not technically impossible but is it worth the effort? I mean let’s discuss pros and cons.
Pros:
- it gives more visibility to the community
- might attract more delegators
Cons:
- add complexity to the code
- makes the comment a bit heavy and store reptitive content taking space on the blockchain
- if other communities don’t understand Vietnamese will they be bothered going down to read the comments? The author writing in Vietnamese is probably a better solution.
- same with potential delegators, will they even see the comments?
Instead of writing upvote comments in both language, there is a next phase which will be:
- have the bot auto-curate by posting its own blog post in English and Vietnamese.
- have the bot automatically write posts showing statistics about the Vietnamese community such as:
- number of VN users
- their posting frequency
- what tags they use the most
Well written, this would work better than the upvote comments.
What do you reckon?
It looks like there are more cons than pros. So I think it's better to keep it Vietnamese. I'm planning to delegate but I want to have at least 3 cents upvote for Qurator Tier 1 upvote. Do you know any website which shows how many SP I should have to give 3 cents worth upvote? I was looking at Steemnow calculator, but it doesn't work well.
I use steemnow but multiply the SP by 100 to have accuracy as it avoid roundings:
For example here, with 15450 SP you get a $3 upvote. So for $0.03 you need 154.50 SP.
You can also simulate SP with this great tool:
That big circle on the top left with your vote power inside, you can click on the outter ring to show you the vote value at different vote powers. https://steemworld.org/@hungrybanana
There is a
Simulate SP
button on the right. You currently have 226.43 SP which gives you $0.04 upvote at 100% weight.
