Most tourists travel to Vietnam, they would like to enjoy our Vietnamese specific foods. Not only the things that they could not find anywhere else in the world but also the way our Vietnamese Cheves cook their dishes. My friend is also a chef at a hotel in Singapore. This was the first time he visited Vietnam with his wife to understand more about our culinary culture and take time to travel around.
I brought them to this curbside restaurant once they reached Vietnam. The first time they ate here, they told me they love the flavour of the soup so much. After 6 days in Vietnam when they gonna leave, they decided to EAT AGAIN and EAT MORE here.
The place is not difficult to find out. As you can see on the photo I took, it is located at 242 Yen Hoa, Cau Giay District, Hanoi city
The Menu is not included so many choices. It pays attention to Chichen/Duck Porridge; Chicken/Duck Vermicelli (noodles); Stir Fried Vermicelli (noodles); Soups ( all at 30,000 vnd ~ 1.32$USD)
For drinks, they offer kumquat juice, lemon juice at 10,000 vnd (~ 0.44$USD), soya bean milk at 5000 vnd (~0.22$USD).
On every table, I saw 1 of this paper. I think it is placed there to show customers that their noodle is guaranteed to be healthy: 100% natural; No colourings; No preservative.
We are 3 people but we order 4 rations (really big portion/bowl) , as I mention before, my friends scared that they wont have chances to eat these food when they are back to Singapore.Lol
1 bowl of Chicken Porridge
1 bowl of Duck Vermicelli
2 bowl of Duck's blood curbs with gizzards
The thing I love most is their add on items such as bamboo shoot which has sour and spicy tastes; and their special chili sauce... My total bill is 120,000 vnd ( ~$5.27 USD)
My friends enjoy their favorite dishes HAHA
I advise you guys to bring your friends here to enjoy specific flavours. Not only foreigners but also Vietnamese will fall in love with it
