Message to the curious visitor: Buyer Beware! Troy Reid is not what he appears to be.
He is NOT a Suvivalist NOR off grid.
He plays victim at every opportunity.

He does have solar panels, but only as a prop to exploit his Off Grid tag.
Late last fall, Reid moved his second-hand golf cart batteries for his alleged solar system,
to an uninsulated box placed outside his cottage.
He has not shown proof he is making or consuming solar power ever.
It is safe to assume those batteries froze over the winter until he proves otherwise.

He also does Not homestead.

He has spent all of his time since fall running a crypto-currency mining scam in said cottage.
These computers produce excessive heat and noise as well as consume excessive energy and take up his entire living room.

This venture also brings the question whether or not he and his family actually live in that tiny, noisy cottage.

And his claim of having over 100,000 YouTube subscribers.....
he or a proxy buys subscribers from a third party at approximately 70 every day.
His daily views are currently at an all time low.
