We used to have a Pyrenees/PitBull mix who was a foster/adopt. She was so loving, but her desire to chase was strong. She started taking down our goats, so she went to live with my parents. She is still an awesome dog, just wasn't a fit for the homestead we had at that time. The Anatolian/Pyrenees cross sounds really interesting and far more productive of a mix for a homestead.

We have two large dogs and being that we have bear, cougar and wolf in our area, their main purpose is to protect our snack-size kiddos, but as we expand our homestead again we will certainly look into a livestock guardian dog.
