In the wee hours of the morning, one can see men running up and down in the boardwalk.

The Virginia Beach is a hot spot for golf lovers. There are as many as 11 golf courses open to the public in the city and 36 military holes at NAS Oceana’s Aeropines Course. Hell’s Point Golf Club and Virginia Beach National are some of the most notable greens, which hosts the Virginia Beach Open every year in April.

Virginia Beach is a Hub For Volleyball

Virginia Beach is home to one of the largest volleyball followings around. Tidewater Volleyball Association and Volleyball Virginia and more hosted here offers competitive games for pros and amateurs. Professional and semi-professional tournaments in affiliation with the AVP Tour, EVP Tour, Pro Beach East and The Spalding Corona Wide Open are also held here at Virginia. And if that is too much for you, there’s always a volleyball net available on the beach for public play.
