Dont move for 6 hours
In 1979, performance artist Marina Abramovic, who had not been recognized at that time, realized one of the most memorable, most spoken and perhaps most terrifying demonstrations of the history of performing arts. In this show that gave Rhythm 0, what he did was actually very simple. Standing wherever you are. In addition to this, he placed many different objects and materials on a table, leaving the choice of people to follow. This was a flower chocolate sack, all kinds of random things from the neck to the knife. There was even a bullet and a gun on the table. So there was a chance to choose between good and bad. They would be able to use these objects as they would all wander.

During the whole show, the woman would remain passive like an inanimate object. The intention was to impose itself as a living artwork. But it was not known that this 6-hour performance would turn out to be one of the most horrible days of your life.

At first, the viewers were pretty kind and good intentions. Some gave her a rose in the hand of the table, some gave her cake, others were caressing her hair and shaking hands with her. However, as time passed and performance grew longer, the color of work began to change. First, one of the spectators slapped the woman lightly. Abramovic really did not react, and some of the community began to hit the woman harder. People who have just tugged at the hand of a woman and extended her roses have begun to show no tendency to violence when they realize that they are truly vulnerable. However, the events were not limited by this.

A crowd took a gun and put it on her forehead. He then placed the gun in a form that would allow the woman to stand on her neck. Some of them started writing pens on the woman's forehead with pencils. Sexual harassment started after them. Some of them were kissing her hips, her breasts, some kissing her, others licking! At last the crowd broke the woman's clothes with scissors and left her naked. But they are not satisfied with this.

One of the crowd stroked the woman's stomach with a knife and the others followed him with courage. After she disintegrated her clothes, she started to kneel all over the woman with the knives and stab her in vaguely. Even after they blew a scratch on the neck, they bleed here. After that they carried the woman like a lifeless model, many of them harassed repeatedly, a crowded man tried to rape her on the table!

Later, with the help of a few prudent people, the crowd gave up on this idea and started to take naked photographs of the woman and to shake some of them. During this time, the woman was in tears, but the crowd insisted on treating her as an object ...

Despite the widespread majority, a group of people in the crowd began to feel uncomfortable. But they did not have the courage to act. Until a woman comes out of the crowd, wiping Abramovic's tears and hugging her ...

The minority group, who was uncomfortable with the artist's structure, took her as a protection circle, put her clothes back on, closed the wound on her neck, closed the other parts of her body with tape and offered cigarettes to her.

This event, which turned from a performance art to a more social experiment, showed how many of the well-intentioned people who were uncomfortable in this situation could not show the courage of the same solidarity or were late in this matter, even though the majority could easily take courage from each other and reveal the evil within.

At the end of the six-hour performance, Abramovic began to move again, but when the crowd faced a terrible person, he escaped. The person who was just tortured without hesitation, moving again by winning an individual form, was terrified by the crowd ...
