Unfortunately not many. I think the bot thing will need to be the way to go.
Problem with the tag is, that already too many people are using the tag and just the most valued ones are highlighted I think.

Haven't tried them but you have to send some Steem$ to them to get an upvote on it. I think descriptions with what you have to do are written there.
