Many of our readers know that we spent a total of six months Vietnam. The original plan was spend 91 days in Ho Chi Minh City, and then move on to another country. But within three months, we had fallen in love with Vietnam, its food, culture and people, and we couldn't imagine leaving without exploring the north. So, we decided to change our plans, extend our visas and spend another 91 days among the Vietnamese.
Because we waited so long before putting this video together, Vietnam isn't very fresh in our memories, and it was great fun to go back through the material. These scenes reminded us of all the wonderful, unique and beautiful things we saw in North Vietnam... as well as the urge to have some more delicious Vietnamese food!
It took a long time to put this compilation together, and we hope you enjoy it.

Such an awesome video of a place I hold close to my heart. I lived 7 years in Vietnam and couldn't help but smile at all the beauty you chose to portray. Thank you for the memories.
Oh how did you end up in Vietnam for such a long time? And where did you live? Oh man, editing this video surely made us Vietnam!
Initially to teach English for a year in Saigon, and then i never left! Lived 6 years there and a year in Hanoi doing a bunch of different things from teaching to working in orphanage, to modelling and visiting the neighbouring countries... Super random but tons of memories to last for a lifetime.
Well done on the editing! Looks super professional.
Thank you .. Oh man ... we loved Saigon!!!! Hanoi it took a long time to get used to! We started now cooking Vietnamese at home ... because we crave the food!
Yeah i would definitely not go back to living in Hanoi. A year was plenty. Much better to visit the city than to live there... But Saigon is a lot of fun.
Did you live there as well?
Thank your for your beautiful words @for91days. Should I bring it into the hive to advertise my Vietnam? :D
It would be our honor!
A great compilation and some much footage! Well, you would if you spent 182 days in Vietnam! Sam can't wait to show Vietnam to Becca as he lived there for five years when he was younger (5 - 10 years old), yet he is sure a lot has changed since he left in 2001.
This was footage from just the second for 91 days - 3 month! .. Tons must have changed, I don't know where he lived but Saigon is changing every single day! We even noticed changed in the time we lived there.
Ah so the Hanoi and Northern Vietnam part. Their first 91 days in Vietnam was in Saigon. We are sure it has changed massively and there's always a part in Sam's mind that says don't go back and just keep the memories you have. Yet, change is natural in life.
I enjoyed my month long trip to Vietnam so much. Such an awesome experience. Especially the countryside has stolen my heart. The cities are exciting as awell, but i could never imagine myself du stay in Saigon for 3 months. Its way too chaotic and loud for me for staying such a long time.
Wow! Vietnam looks like a country that I need to visit :)
Nice video. You covered such a range of amazing interests and experiences within this culture! Thanks for sharing.
Ant this was just the North! Thank you so much for your comment.
I've officially now put Vietnam on my bucket-list for places to travel.
