UK sales: SoulCalibur VI is ranked 8th in the list

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 was the best-selling game of last week in the UK.

Treyarch's game only dropped 39% compared to its first week, but at the moment it has sold half the physical copies of WWII in the same period. It has achieved a similar level of income, so the switch to digital (which is not covered in the UK lists) seems clear.

The most successful news of the week at the level of physical sales was LEGO DC Super-Villains, which came in sixth place. The LEGO franchise has traditionally had good results in the UK, although this installment sold less than the previous release (LEGO: The Incredibles in July).

The next game that we find as a novelty is SoulCalibur VI, which is ranked eight. It has sold 55% less than SoulCalibur V in its first week, but we must bear in mind that six years ago digital sales were much smaller than nowadays. 80% of sales occurred on PS4 and 20% on Xbox One.

Starlink: Battle for Atlas enters 14th place. The exclusivity of Star Fox's toys has been noticed when choosing a platform: the cast was 81% on Nintendo Switch, 10% on PS4 and 9% on Xbox One There is only one more release in the Top 40: Luigi's Mansion for 3DS at number 23.

Valve delays the beta of Artifact

Valve has delayed the beta of Artifact, the card game based on DOTA.

This test was to take place on an undisclosed date of the month of October. However, Valve has sent an email to people who have requested a password (including all attendees to The International 2018) to indicate that it will take longer than expected.

Right now they plan to launch it nine days before the game's release, on November 19. However, the way they express themselves in the mail does not seem to be closed yet, so it could come sooner or later. The launch date of the game has not been moved.

The announcement has not yet occurred officially, although as indicated in PC Gamer Valve has eliminated the mentions of the beta of their accounts.

Pyramid Head will arrive at Metal Gear Survive as an accessory

Konami has announced that Metal Gear Survive will receive a Halloween event.

The Researcher's Story (Special Edition) will be the name of the event, in which we can get as a reward a head accessory that allows us to infiltrate with the appearance of Silent Hill's Pyramid Head.

In addition to this reward, you can get cassettes with music from Silent Hill and Castlevania. It has not been detailed yet how these rewards will be achieved. You can also get rewards from previous events, such as Super Contra cassettes.

The Researcher's Story (Special Edition) starts tomorrow, October 23, at Metal Gear Survive and will be active until November 6.

In order to participate it is necessary to complete the main campaign.

Capcom will launch three limited editions of DMC5 in Japan with game clothes

Capcom has announced limited editions of Devil May Cry 5 exclusive to the Japanese store.

These editions include the game with a piece of clothing to choose from among the jackets of the three protagonists.

The prices we give are without taxes, so the final cost will be higher than these figures:

The V jacket, sleeveless, costs 600,000 yen, about € 4,600.

Whoever prefers Nero's jacket, with a sleeve and a half, will have to pay 750,000 yen, about € 5,800.

Finally we get Dante's jacket, with two full sleeves, which costs 900,000 yen, about 7,000 €. It seems that the price increases as the number of available sleeves increases.

It is not the first edition of exorbitant price that prepares Capcom: in Japan you can buy a functional replica of the typewriter of Resident Evil facing the release of Resident Evil 2 Remake.

And if we go further back in time, Resident Evil 6 had a special edition with the Leon jacket that cost almost € 1,000.

Splash Damage announces the end of the development of Dirty Bomb

Splash Damage (Brink, multiplayer of Gears of War 4) has announced that it finishes the development of Dirty Bomb.

This F2P shooter set in London was announced in 2012. It entered Early Access in 2015, but version 1.0 was not available until August of this year.

In the coming weeks they will launch a new build of the game focused on fixing bugs, but beyond that they do not plan to continue working on the game. They themselves recognize that it has not worked at the commercial level as expected, so they have had to make the decision to stop development.

The company will return the money to the mercenary pack buyers by January 31, 2019, since not all the new characters that were planned will be released. Unlocked mercenaries will remain in the account.

Although this does not look good for the future of the game, Splash Damage has kept the servers open while there is an active community of players that justifies it. They wanted to finish the letter by thanking people for their support of the game during these years.
