Lisa Wimberger, drummer in Lil Sum'n Sum'n and author of New Beliefs, New Brain: Free Yourself From Stress and Fear, started the event off by playing some hang drum with her husband Gilly Gonzalaes (drummer in Lil Sum'n Sum'n, Lunar Fire and Kan'nal) on the tablas.
After the drum session, Wimberger led the crowd in a guided neurosculpting meditation. It's all about retraining your neurological thought patterns and intentions to create the peaceful reality you want to see.
Lisa then went into detail about her life story, what led her to start the Neurosculpting Institute. Lisa began meditating at age 12 and then was hit by lightning at age 15. Once she found out the seizures she had every so often were her flat lining and actually being considered clinically dead, she decided to use her traumatic experience as a vehicle for her own transformation.
