In 2016 we had a transport from Palenque in Mexico to Flores (Guatemala). It was very early in the morning and still dark, when suddenly our car stopped. In front of the car where around 15 people with masks, baseball bats and machetes. They knocked again the car and wanted to know who is inside. The driver told them, that we are just tourists. Then they let us pass. Apparently they where looking for someone. That was a scary moment too ;)
