Is D.tube the future of stock video content?

in #video7 years ago

Adobe Stock, Videoblocks, Envato and many more platforms these days offer stock video content. This content is barely curated, costs tons of money to aquire and the people making a living from it are not the creative people producing the content, it's companies like Adobe who basically just host it. They are basically milking the creativity out of people.

So with D.tube we actually now have a platform where anyone can upload great content and get paid for the attention received. What if we used this platform as a stock footage hub for content creators? Think about it, people who need the stock footage can just come over and get it, in response the content will also get curated and watched which also helps the original creator. This is probably the most powerful opportunity for private film makers in a long time!!

Here's some random stock footage I added to the site
