We'll see, but it's probably a numbers game.

  • One thing is for sure, it doesn't hurt imo.

And chasing people off the #Hive platform, ultimately results in less users than would otherwise be possible.

It is what it is.

Human nature won't change just cause you changed a platform.

Well, we can at least change our own nature, or to put it another way:

Creators like Max Igan, Dan Dicks and Larken Rose have been pounded by whales so hard they stopped using it thereby also stopping them from sending all their folloers to Hive. They all want to be here though and can help increase active commenting and content consuming users. I know a lot of whales downvotes because "I hate that guy". That's not great for advancing the platform though. I am very happy to see some whales here being open to change and valuing when you take the criticism to hart and making changes!

I wasn't aware of whales changing their tone and upvote practices.

But if they have and do, it makes sense, since #Hive is touted as a #FreeSpeech platform.

@pressfortruth in fact posts here, as does Max Igan, and does not need to be reposted, as I have noted in comment to @tdtv requesting that their original posts not be competed with as reposting does.

Payouts for them are set to declined as with all others who post to their own account. Unfortunately in order to add to vigilante.tv it needs to be posted. But with payouts declined.

I hope you can find a way to not compete with original creators on Hive. Even if you aren't taking in rewards, any that view the reposts and not the originals don't upvote the originals.
