This is @chrnerd with a post about the series called Narcos:Mexico which I started watching last night. Narcos:Mexico is a continuation of the original series Narcos written and produced by the same crew, but having a completely different casting group.
Both series focus on the criminal underworld and their production of certain drugs and in particular marijuana. Their only difference is the place the events happen, with Narcos taking place in Columbia, while Narcos:Mexico apparently takes place in Mexico and more precisely in Sinaloa and Guadalajara.
This is the official soundtrack for both series. I've only just started watching Narcos:Mexico but I'm going to say that it is as awesome as Narcos. What caught my already from the first episode is the immediate vibe of violence and corruption that is already taking place in Mexico.
This goes without saying that I would definitely recommend both series for everyone who hasn't watched them already and needs that type of action and violence when it comes to watching television series.
