Hi everyone! Is so hard for me to stop posting about Tibet! That trip was amazing and I just want to share with all of you another little story of what I feel it was one of the best places I visited in 7 years of backpacking.
The video was recorded by me from a truck that pick us up on the road. Hitchhiking was extremely easy over here and its people very lovely!
The pilgrims are "sliding" on the road and it takes several months until they reach their destination. In between they have tents and camps waiting for them where they can recover until the next day. During winter it can reach to -30/-40°C at night in some points (as we experienced) and the altitude also does its part with the lack of oxygen in the air.
I hope you enjoy it.
Thanks/Gracias.
Woah, what was the purpose of them traveling like this? Obviously it isn't the most convenient way to get around.
