How to buy Veritaseum

I've been doing some research on Veritaseum and I think it may be worth having some exposure to. Here's a couple links to other steem articles that will get you started if you've never heard of it.

So here are the steps I used.

First you will need Ethereum. Go to coinbase.com, add a credit card or bank account in order to purchase Ethereum.

Purchase only what you can afford to lose... As with everything this is speculative.

Next you go to https://www.myetherwallet.com here you type in a strong password because you're creating the wallet that will store your Veritaseum. Don't forget this password!!!

Click on Generate Wallet.

Download your Keystore File and store it in a safe place. Maybe even add it to a password protected zip file.

Click I Understand and Continue.

Print your paper wallet and store it somewhere safe.

Click on Save your address. You can use the keystore file you just downloaded.

To see your address you have to use the password you didn't already forget. That one you used to create the keystore file.

This is the address where you will be sending your Ethereum to from Coinbase. You can actually do that now as long as everything is backed up and safe.

Notice if you click the eye you can see your private key. You will need your private key and your address to purchase Veritaseum. Copy them but keep them safe! These two pieces of information are all someone would need to take all your coins but they are vital in the next steps.

Be patient because Coinbase takes an eternity to send.

Next we go to https://etherdelta.github.io/#VERI-ETH

This is where you can buy Veritaseum. Sweet, you almost have some!

Now we'll import an account.

Put in your address and private key that you created with MyEtherWallet and click Import Account. Maybe that Coinbase transaction finally went through.

Now you will have to deposit your Ethereum into the exchange.

Once that transaction is completed you can bid on Veritaseum.

After your Veritaseum order has been filled you can withdraw your remaining Ethereum.

Don't forget to withdraw your new Veritaseum as well.

Don't leave anything left in the exchange, make sure everything is back in your wallet.

You can have the exchange forget your account once you're sure everything is complete.

Keep your paper wallet and your keystore file safe and secure.

Don't forget the password to your wallet.

Cross your fingers and wait.
