The shortage of food abounds in Venezuela, every day the figures are higher due to lack of food for daily consumption.
Supermarkets live empty, many industries have stopped producing and the little that is is at a high price impossible to acquire.
Lonely aisles and bare shelves welcome buyers. Some trays with pork and ham are left in the refrigerators. Vegetables such as onions and carrots, widely used in Venezuelan cuisine, are scarce. There are no legumes either.
