Venezuela the country of contradictions

in #venezuela7 years ago

Is really difficult to talk about venezuela without talking about socialism, but if a i can summarize what that ideology did to my country is easy, turn everything awful, every horrible decision that you can make is nothing compared to what socialism will do to your country, even thought is some kind of irony for some left wingers, socialism has turn every person here more self center but that's what i going to leave that out about political ideologies here.

I want to talk about the many lives that had being loss here, friendships and families torn apart, i wanted to talk about how every smile there was there in the faces of many great people that i met in my contradictory life in Venezuela.

First and foremost Pablo, a friend of mine, he was a beautiful dude who thanks to the horrible deliquency of my country he life was cut short, he was a happy dude, we use to talk the usual stuff that kids at that age talk about video game, movies, music and a long list of etc, i remember how we used to talk about his new pc, and how his eyes shined every time we talk about games, he wanted to make games but his life was cut short, he was just sitting in the walkside and he got shot because he was sitting along with some of his friends which in that case were criminals and low life, is kinda sad to think that he was a good boy in a terrible place to be, i remember that he die just a 3 blocks away from my highschool and they carried the coffin to my highschool and hearing his mother crying for his kid was enough for me to leave my highschool, many good moments for me were when i argue about games with him, but the deliquency cut short his time.

One of my neighbors her name shall be remain in anonimity because i don't want anyone to look her up, told me how once how one of her cousins die from famine, that she was like a skeleton, i remember how my neighbor was crying a lot that time, unfortunately that's not the only story of people dying of famine here, in the news there's the story about how an six month kid die from it and 39 kids are in critical state in my country, people cannot find food in the capital. I have seen people eating from garbage, cooking dogs, cats, pigeons, horses and rats, the horrible state of affairs, i hope that everything will get better i seriously pray for it but is kinda hard after every horrible photo you can find and you will find about the current situation of my country
