Rock is really american, but in Latin America since the 80's with singers like Cerati, rock made a boom throughout the continent and Venezuela didn't stay away, in the end of the 20th century appears the main group of venezuelan rock: Caramelos de Cianuro
The "Caramelos" as they are usually called, are something us venezuelans are passionate for, even before the worldwide famous Chyno Miranda and Nacho, Caramelos were our national pride in modern music, making a new statement in venezuelan soft rock.
As almost every single rock band nowadays, all the members are around 40 to 50, so they are old, but their music is so timeless that even today they continue to making us happy with new songs that mix with today's music and do not forget the old classic rock we all like.

Personally, I don't love rock but I respect it. But Caramelos is my exception, Asier (The singer and band leader) makes this group come up even when they have 20 or 30 years making music! The newest track they launched is "El instante pasó" which I strongly recommend to listen to as "Rubia, Sol, Morena, Luna" or "La casa", which are classic, asswell.
