Your welcome. Yeah, its the only thing about Steemit that is irritating especially after using Facebook. The best way I have found so far tracking notifications is using steemd.com. It's just a list of activity.

nice, I'll give that a go, as even the eSteem app don't work for notifications
Cool, I know Steemit is still in its infancy as a system, but if you don't know who's made contact its a big weakness!
