(Souvenir shot of my lunch today: Rice, mushroom skewers, squash with basil leaves, bananas, boiled peanuts...)

Hi everyone, this is my revenge lunch 😊. I had just a warm cocoa and bread for breakfast so I tried to compensate during my lunch. What you can see are food I bought in a vegan restaurant nearby my workplace. Yes, it's a vegan meal. I use to buy takeaways if I'm not able to cook the night before.

I'm one of those.. no meat, no cry people. I stopped comsuming pork, chicken, beef and sorts 7months ago. I still eat seafood sometimes, specially fish so I call my self 'pescetarian'.

For me, there's no going back to eating meat but going absolutely meatless instead. I understand people's judgement whenever they hear someone not eating meat. I've been there, done that. I was once like you or like them. It doesn't hurt at all to be judged, really. What people don't know, once you got in this direction you won't go back to eating meat again. No need to tell you why, you'll know when you get there ☺... Instead you'll be glad you started it and wished you started it long time ago. Back then I thought it's difficult, but not really. The most challenging part for me was giving up some popular food in Philippines (Cebuanos and Filipinos specially can relate) humba, lechon baboy, lechon manok, and jollibee chicken.
But it's possible and doable. That's all I can say for now. Peace! πŸ’™πŸ’šπŸ’œπŸ’›β€
