EASY HEALTHY VEGAN BURGER

This is a super healthy recipe that feels like you're eating junk food! This vegan patty is super tasty, simple, nutrient-rich and great for health and weight loss!

Ingredients
1 cup cooked brown rice
1 cup raw crushed walnuts
1/2 white onion finely diced
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon cumin powder
1 tablespoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 packets of stevia or 2 soaked dates or 1.5 tablespoons of date sugar
1 1/2 cups cooked black beans
1/3 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup tomato paste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 F.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. You may want to use a potato masher to mash the beans a little.
  3. Stir well, form into patties, and lay them out on a parchment paper covered pan.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes, remove from oven, flip over, and bake for another 15 minutes until edges are browned and crispy.
