RE: Do vegans 'force' their opinions on others?

in #vegan5 years ago

Is this serious? Vegans/vegetarians are among the most obnoxious people on the planet. I have yet to meet one who has a live-and-let-live mentality. They seem to be on a mission to "convert" the whole planet.

And you analogy with slavery is weak at best. You would had Inuits die of starvation? Humans condemned to back-breaking earth tilling?

Sort:

I have yet to see one carnivore not want to kill other beings for no real reason other than taste buds.

When you become vegan you also become the voice of the voiceless and you learn you have to stand up for all the beings that are killed everyday for no reason

Biologically speaking, we are OMNIvore, not HERBIvore. The "reason" we "kill" animals is because we're made this way. Completely cutting off meat from your diet will likely make you miserable from a lack of saturated fat, and a likelihood of all sorts of other deficiencies

Biologically speaking, we are FRUGIvore, not omnivore. Have you ever wondered why heart disease, type 2 diabetes and other chronic illnesses are so rampant in our society? It is largely due to INCORRECT diet.

Educate yourself.

There are MILLIONS of healthy vegans and vegetarians living all over the world, some including world class athletes such as Venus and Serena Williams, Lewis Hamilton, Patrick Baboumian, Novak Djokovic, Carl Lewis, David Haye, and Nick and Nate Diaz, all much fitter and stronger than the average bacon-loving meat eater.

It is scientifically proven that humans do not need to eat meat to survive (or thrive), therefore it is safe to conclude that you eat animals for no other reason than momentary taste pleasure and convenience. The sooner you are willing to admit that to yourself, the better.

Why those diseases? Insulin resistance, i.e. too much carb. And if we're frugivore, why can't we digest fibers like herbivores, and our stomach acidity is closer to a carnivore's?

Of COURSE we don't "need" meat to survive. But unless your meatless diet has enough saturated fat, you WILL die before, say, a clean keto eater

Carnists do not abide by 'live-and-let-live'. You kill other creatures for taste pleasure. Why don't you leave the animals alone? What have they ever done to harm you? Why don't you let the animals 'live'?

Vegans are the ones who truly live by the 'live-and-let-live' principle. Your lifestyle is sustained by death.

You claim to be libertarian yet you do not extend the non-aggression principle to animals. Why not?

NAP: Do not initiate violence against non-aggressors. The animals you eat have never aggressed upon you, so why not just leave them alone?

If you can show me clear examples of how to get the EXACT SAME nutrition with plants (omega-3 the can be easily absorbed like marine sources, saturated fats, proteins the body can absorb), I might consider it. But know that our stomachs are closer to carnivores' with its acidity and structure

Our stomachs are nothing like a carnivores'. They have much shorter intestines and their stomach is much HIGHER in acidity, which makes it easier for them to digest meat. Carnivores and omnivores also have no problem eating raw meat.

You mean the vegan propaganda video? Also, our stomach are considered acidic. Yes, not like a wolf's, but nothing like a cow's.
