Info: this is a typical vegetarian Italian salad. It is my favorite one because it joins sweet and bitter tastes. The main ingredients are:

Bloody Lettuce: this is a particular lettuce because it has red and green in its leaves and old myths tell that the red was the blood of a Saint. It is a little bit bitter;
Biological Apples: these are fruits that I really love because they are biological and I can eat their peel without any problem. In autumn these apples are very sweet;
Walnuts: this ingredient is very important because it is the crispy part of the salad;
Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar: here in Italy we do not use sauces in the salads, but usually we prefer oil, that is the lipid part. Finally I love vinegar because it is very sweet and original.
