Welcome Milkjar.

Glad to see you up and running again.

Anj

nice to see you on steemit and dtube ;)
#DWTVA

That's very wild.

Tips hat

Oh man are you going to start exposing the vegan agenda on Steemit?

Awesome! - following you now - but prepare for the backlash :)

Yes I will. Thinking about putting some crypto into steemit as well, maybe like $1k usd worth. Do you think that would help?

Also I see that I have over $1.50 on this video but when I go into my profile I only see 30 cents. What gives?

It's hard to get started. Steemit is actually a pretty complex world so give youself time to understand it - people like me have been sort of learning the ropes for nearly two years!

Yes having over 500 Steem power helps and gives you a vote slider, but that will cost about US$1700 at today's prices - but if Steem goes up it can be a good investment

To see how to get off to a good start check out my sister in law - https://steemit.com/@andysantics48 - she has done everything spot on and got up to speed REALLY fast - it took me a year :)

It takes a full 7 days for payments to go through - and right up the the last day some tosser could flag your post - it doesn't usually happen but you may be a bit of a target.

Make sure you mix in other content because exposing vegan is tricky even here on Steemit - anti vax is fine for example, but you know what vegans are like!

Its not worth getting sbd?
Would I lose steem/my money if vegans downvoted into oblivion?

You won't lose $ from being downvoted - they can't take your money off you - but they can stop you making it on a specific post.

Essentially, it pays to be polite on Steemit in the long term, which is pretty cool really - I generally just walk away from argument because it's never a winner.

I'm just trying to give you heads up that what you can get away with is dependent on how big your friends wallets are

The thing that concerns me most here is what seems to be an enforced politeness. In my opinion downvotes should be reserved for spam, fake content and plagiarism, but it seems like it may be worse than some of the mainstream sites in terms of downvotes just burying you to the point silence. Im brand new here so its only my first impression. I definitly may be wrong.

You have already started asking the difficult q's!

there is absolutely killer info in here but you need to be following the right people.

If you go through the 230 people I follow some of them are amazing - but it takes a long time to build a network.

You now have me for starters, but Steemit is a hierarchical system based on wallet size, and until you have more back up you may not get much respect - I would never usually say all this to any new Steemer but you have just walked into tough hood with no backup. There is plankton, minnows, dolphins, and whales. You are plankton, I'm a small dolphin but so are some vegans. As far as I know most of the wales are not very interested in this subject.

There are actually some really awesome vegans on Steemit, so it's nothing personal - I always do my best to be diplomatic when I'm rubbishing their diet.

Been checking out your post. Love it. Glad to see someone posting real stuff on here. I must say iv been disappointed with the mainstream alternative garbage that I see on here. Are there more people like on here? Do they just get buried? Seems like you are doing alright either way.

If you hang out with the right people and post a lot of good content eventually it can go well

As good as it gets:
