Despite that words "Hare Krishna" have already entered our life, only few people know what it means. Is it a repetitive spell that should hypnotize those who say it, a form of passing away from life or a true meditation that really can expand and deepen our vision of reality? I will try to explain it
The transcendental vibration arising from the repetition of Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare / Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare, is an exalted method of regenerating our transcendental consciousness. Like living eternal souls, we are all Krishna conscious beings, but now our consciousness is covered by the material energy, since time immemorial we are in contact with matter. The material atmosphere in which we now live is called maya, means, an illusion. What is this illusion? We are all trying to dominate material nature, although indeed we are in the grip of its harsh laws. When a servant tries to possess himself as a master, it means that he is in an illusion. We are trying to exploit the resources of material nature, but in fact we are increasingly entangled in its networks. Therefore, despite the fact that we are engaged in a heavy struggle with nature, in an effort to conquer it, we are becoming increasingly dependent on it. This illusory struggle with material nature will immediately cease as soon as we revive the eternal consciousness of Krsna within.
Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare - a transcendent vibration .By uttering this sound, we can purify our heart of all fears. The root of all these fears is a false consciousness: "I am the master of everything that I see."
This consciousness is the primordial, natural energy of a living being. When we listen to the transcendental sound of the Hare Krishna mantra, this consciousness is reborn. This simplest method of meditation is recommended in this age. One can see practically that the repetition of this mantra, the Great Song of Liberation, allows one immediately feel the transcendental ecstasy coming directly from the spiritual realm. Adhering to the material concepts of life, we are occupied with the satisfaction of the senses, as if we are at a lower, animal stage. He who rises a little above the level of sensual pleasures to escape from material bondage, is engaged in empirical philosophizing. A reasonably intelligent person surpasses the level of empirical philosophizing and tries to discover the highest cause of all causes - inside and outside all things. And when one is really achieves the level of spiritual understanding, having risen above the spheres of feelings, mind and intelligence, we can say one is situated on the transcendent platform. To chant maha-mantra, one does not need understanding what it means .It comes by itself, directly from the spiritual level, so everyone can take part , and this does not require any special qualities.
At the initial stages a person may not feel all the manifestations of transcendental ecstasy .However, there is no doubt that if a person repeats the mantra for some time, he immediately ascends to the spiritual level, and the first sign of this is the desire to dance while chanting the mantra. Of course, one who has become too entangled in material life will need a little more time to reach this norm, but even such a person steeped in material material will very quickly rise to the spiritual level. When a pure devotee of the Lord sings with a love, she has a strong influence on the listeners, therefore, in order to achieve immediate effect, we must listen to the singing and chanting of the mantra from the pure devotee of the Lord.
The word Hara is a form of reference to the energy of the Lord, and Krsna and Rama are related to Lord Himself.
Both Krsna and Rama mean "supreme pleasure," and Hara is the supreme energy of the Lord's pleasure . The supreme pleasure energy of the Lord helps us to reach Him.
The material energy, called maya, is also one of the many energies of the Lord. And we are as living beings, are also energy, the boundary energy of the Lord. Now we are under control of material energy . When the higher energy touches the lower energy, an unnatural situation arises, but when the higher energy touches the higher energy, Hara, it is asserted in its normal happy state.
These three words: Hare, Krsna and Rama are the transcendental seeds of the maha-mantra. Singing and chanting the mantra is a spiritual call to the Lord and His energy to protect the conditioned soul. It is like a child's unprecedented crying for his mother. Mother Hara helps the devotee to find the mercy of the Lord-Father, and the Lord reveals Himself to the devotee who sincerely repeats this mantra.
