What is protein and why is so important?
Protein is a macronutrient which its main role is to build, maintain and repair tissues. So if you're wondering where we use protein in our body here is a few places where it can be found:
- Muscle Tissue.
- Bones.
- Hair.
- Nails.
- Skin.
- Blood, specifically our Red Blood Cells.
As you can see, protein can be found in most places of our body and is highly important to include protein in your diet to stay healthy, but in which foods can we find proteins? Here are 5 foods where you can find it and are a good source of proteins:
Black Beans

Organic Tofu

Almonds

Avocado
