Garbanzo & Potato Soup
6c water
1/2tsp salt (add more if needed)
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 potato, cubed
1 tomato, chopped
1/4c chopped onion
1/3c rice
1/2 can garbanzos (chopped up fine)
Juice of 1 lemon
Put water in pot. Add all ingredients except potatoes. Boil for 6 minutes. Add potatoes. Turn heat down to low. Put on lid. Let sit 10 minutes. Soup is done when potatoes are fork tender.
I chopped up the garbonzo because I don't like biting into a whole one. They're too dry.
