In Vietnam, tofu is highly favored, particularly among those who eat "chay food" (vegan cuisine). I'm really fond of tofu. I can cook them, stir-fry them with veggies, and use them to make vegan noodles and delicious soups like pho.
I'm cooking tofu balls with ginger sauce today. These were just oval pieces because I intended to use an air fryer, which would allow them to cook more quickly. Alternatively, you can roll them into balls and deep fry them, which is a better option for better taste (but frying them in an air fryer can make them healthier since we use less oil). Finally, prepare some fried shredded ginger as well to taste and use as garnish for the dish.( Here I didn't make fried ginger cuz it's not at all as good as the deep-fried ones)
Ingredients:
- 1 tofu bar
- Wheat flour (2 spoons)
- Add black pepper, seasoning, Curcumin, spring onions, minced ginger. Mix up. Shape into balls. Air-fry (or Deep fry).
- Sauce: Soya sauce, sugar, a little of salt, pepper, tomato sauce or chilli sauce.
Corn starch to thicken the sauce later.
I love this dish and my family loves it too. It tastes good, and it looks good. It's nutritious too.
That is it. Thank you for watching!
