Indeed! Well said. And yeah I love the cashew cheese, and almond cheese, it depends on the brand of course, but most of the vegan cheeses I've had have been good!
Thanks for the nice words and support, I appreciate that, and I gave you a follow cause I follow all vegans here on steemit cause I assume you're vegan? Even if not, you seem to be cognizant and aware of it and empathic towards the animals, so I want to surround myself with more likeminded peoples.
And yes. I tend to agree.. I find it highly unlikely any science will show animal products to be good, though there is this weird sort of fringe raw meat eating movement that is gaining in popularity and there's not a lot of science there.. Most experts say cook your food or else you risk getting sick and even dying, but.. There's many who eat their meat all raw and claim it's the most optimal diet.
So.. You know.. I dunno. I tend to imagine cutting it doesn't cause all those ill effects and that eating it raw won't be some kind of magical bullet sort of solution, though I'm a very skeptical open minded person so I try to not close up too much and try to allow other points of view in, even if I disagree with them very much.
I still every once and a while come back to questioning even my own deepest held beliefs, like.. Is it okay to harm others? Cause I think it's good to re examine everything you believe, people tend to get stuck in patterns of thinking they know it all and have all the answers, and thankfully every time I ask about harming others, the answer is always he same, so in the same root or vein hopfully that will be the case with eating plants vs meat into the future as well.
Cause.. It would be a special kind of hell to have to kill beings as a part of regular diet. I believe in not harming others unless absolutely necessary. And I see plenty of healthy plant eaters, millions.. Going back thousands of years.. I like to believe and think I'm on the right side of history. Thanks for your feedback!
Awesome! Thanks for the follow! I am indeed vegan and I'm definitely gonna be writing about various concepts regarding veganism, among other things. Just started here on Steemit and was really busy this week, but definitely looking to get more and more active on it. Seems like a decent place to have discussion and hopefully we can all learn from each other. I agree with what you said about keeping an open mind. I think we all too often get stuck in our ways and enjoy the comfort that habitual thought patterns can bring. But I think it's important to remember we are all in a constant state of learning and there are always opportunities for further growth. Especially when discussing viewpoints of opposing opinions. Looking forward to more of your updates!
