The truth about many of these so called “chart analysis” posts is that it’s all BS. Anything that happens in the future based on someone’s “analysis” is 99 times out of 100 pure luck.
Another way to explain these predictions is to simply call them “self fulfilling prophesies”. Someone makes a prediction, enough people believe in it, and the heard of people actually make it happen by buying into the prediction and acting on it. MACD, bull flags, moving averages...all of these stochastics are nothing but heards of traders following something, and making this artificial thing actually happen. Stocks and cryptos will bounce off moving averages because heards of traders expect the bounce, buy around the bounce, and literally cause the bounce. It’s quite a phenomenon when you think about it and break it down. Anyhow, none of this stuff is sure fire, and everyone should always approach with caution. Good luck.
