Couldn't agree with you more. I've been living out of backpack for over 10 years. I'm currently in Thailand where there is a very healthy population. Low rate of retardation, no obesity, auto immune disease, people don't even have allergies here. They only give like a dozen vaccines to babies, where in my home country of the USA we give like 70 something. We lead the world in down syndrome and poor health overall. It's a total shame.

But the fear based propaganda is keeping my people scared and ignorant. I find it very upsetting. I do travel reports, travel tips, documentation of real life on the streets around the world, but I also give travel advice to other steemians, helping them is the most rewarding part as all I know is travel and have the answer for just about all travel related questions.

@travelman....who has never left the states but calls himself that as he will be traveling in September, asked me about what vaccines he "needs" to get to come to Thailand and SE Asia.

I told him he doesn't need any. You may want to consider getting something for malaria if you you are visiting the amazon or a place where that is legitimate issue.....

I told him I've been traveling for 10 years, never gotten a vaccine and never met another traveler who has either (at least conversed about it) Never got sick or met anyone either.

@travelman is American, and a heavily propogandized a male nurse. He totally blew me off! and simply wouldn't believe it. So I'm sure he's gonna get shot up with all sorts of crap so he go to a place with a healthier population and think he's now safe.

This kind of stuff really breaks my heart. But it is what it is.
