I live in a state that is very much into restricting its people as much as possible. My wife and I were going to go into a very prestigious restaurant in the area to spend a lot more money than the food would cost in a lesser known restaurant until we saw a sign... "Vaccine card or negative Covid test in the last 48 hours Required." Really? So someone with Covid could come in as long as they have a card saying they got a shot? A negative test from 48 hours ago...that's pretty recent. I guess that means they couldn't have been exposed in the last 2 days...We didn't spend our money there. Olive Garden, it is!
So, I took a picture of a CDC issued vaccine card that a friend had. I have the information that I would need to put on the card. If I buy a card and enter the information myself, are there any legal ramifications? I've already had Covid and its variants, went through them just fine and I have enough evidence that I that I am well. Obviously having a vaccine does not prove one has immunity, at least when it comes to covid. But there's no card for someone like me who has healed from unpoked exposure...so
- How do I get a card,
- If I used one outside of my place of work (won't use it there because I could get fired), what would be the ramifications if found out? As far as I can tell, there are no laws against it...and
- How do I convert the paper card once I have one to the digital QR code that the apps will read so I can have a digital version of the card?
Some of you may be upset with my questions or even the audacity that I would not get the shot. Unfortunately, I believe in science too much to get the shot. I'm not a science denier or a sheep, but I need to be able to wear sheep's clothing.
Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated!
