Hey @stellabelle, feels like it's been forever... What a crazy start to your Florida travel journal. Yeah the west coast has been slipping in recent years, honestly it was more after the gulf oil spill. The current circulates all the gulf coast states' crap down the west coast of Florida. We used to visit Marco Island, south of Ft. Myers, and yes it used to be beautiful crystal clear blue water with living starfish and sand dollars everywhere. Those days are gone.

I'm on the south east side which apparently you will cover in chapter 2. Hopefully that worked out better. :-) fingers crossed.
