This serene view is none other than Lake Como. It's actually the third largest lake in Italy after Lake Garda and Maggiore. For the longest of times, the Lake has been a very popular retreat for aristocrats and other wealthy people all the way back to the Roman times. Today, it's very popular amongst tourists and there are many famous people who have homes in this area.
