Top 5 Places to Visit in Malta!!

If you are planning to take a vacation next summer in Europe you definitely have to consider Malta as a choice as it is one of the best places to visit in the summer months.

  1. The weather in summer is phenomenal. In summer it rarely rains and the temperatures commonly exceed 33-34 degrees Celsius with a lot of sunshine which makes it a must to visit if you are looking to make a beach holiday.

  2. It is packed with culture. Malta has a great historical culture which dates back even before the famous stone henge in England!!! we have the oldest free standing structures in the world even older than the pyramids . they are also a UNESCO world heritage site. these places like ggantija and hal tarxien temples are one of the oldest on the island.

  3. The capital city Valletta is packed with historical heritage which dates back to around 1565 when the order of saint Joseph which occupied the island for some time. The capital is also a great place for activities such as shopping, sightseeing and to see a beautiful view of the Valletta port. Valletta is also the European capitol of culture for 2018.

  4. Take a day trip to Gozo. Gozo is the smaller island because Malta consists of 2 main island and one small island in between called Comino. In Gozo you can take quad bike tours around the Gozo cliffs which from you can see a breath taking view of the Mediterranean sea. You can also visit Xlendi where there are a lot of great restaurants with mouth watering fish dishes.

  5. You can also go to Rabat and Mdina. 2 beautiful towns which once were a hub where a lot of people used to live as Mdina was the older capitol of Malta before Valletta was built in the 16th century.

Make sure to keep a visit to Malta on your bucket list as there are alot more things to do and it has GREAT FOOD :)

no i found them off the internet. i live in Malta and I am also planning to post more photos. i would love if you would follow me i will surely be uploading more posts about Malta
