We are excited about the hackathon as well. Those are some great news that you are going to participate. I personally love most the fact that we were able to add more prizes on top of the originally announced ones we had.
I would like to attend the meetup in Lucca, Italy but the travel expenses are very high since from venezuela to italy you have to make several stops.
all your ideas are great now I'm taking html programming course, javascript and little by little I'll go
polishing my knowledge to provide something useful to steemit.
If you are not able to join us in Lucca in person, you can join the hackathon remotely and we will be in contact with everyone during the meetup hoping to make the community feel as if they were there too.
We are considering a few options but for us, the convenience to stream with a mobile device may be more important than using specifically a service that runs on the blockchain. Discord will be on for sure but we would also like to have some video streams. For that part, I can't give our best choice yet.
