Thank you for your contribution, the behavior you described here is simply a cosmetic issue, the feature is working but i think you should just create issue on github for feature request for refresh button within the app, because if you exit the app and launch again the selected picture shows on the menu profile page directly
I believe you could improve and report bugs that are clear and severe. Thanks for contributing to utopian again.
